Erik J. Vandenberg, President of A Thru Z Home Inspection, Inc., is a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY and holds a degree in heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation. He is certified as an electronic/mechanical service technician and is certified by the Refrigeration Services Engineer Society & Educational Foundations. He is also a graduate of the Home Inspection Institute of America, Inc., a certified radon technician, and is a member of the Hudson Valley chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Mr. Vandenberg has more than ten years of hands-on experience in the general contracting and construction field. He has held the position of Vice President of the Hudson Valley Chapter of ASHI and the position of President of the Yorktown Chapter of Business Networking International. He has passed the National Home Inspector Exam. He has also chaired the 4th,5th and 6th annual Hudson Valley Historic Home Seminars. The events are specific to historic homes, and they educate home inspectors in the proper inspection techniques and skills needed for properly inspecting historic homes.
